Small Footprint, Big Heart!

Stella Maris College comprises two campuses: the main campus on Eurobin Avenue and our second campus, 'Benedict' (affectionately known as Bennies), a short five-minute walk away on Pittwater Road.

The two beautiful Moreton Bay figs are the heart of our school. For over a century they have provided a place to meet, learn, and grow in knowledge, compassion and independence. Our main campus is evolving through the addition of new facilities (read more about our exciting Masterplan below), however our heritage-listed Chapel, Convent and Good Samaritan building will always link us to our humble origins.

The Benedict campus is home to our Year 11 and Year 12 senior students where the space includes classrooms and open areas to facilitate discussion and collaboration, as well as quiet areas for focused study and distance learning.

Adjacent to the Benedict campus, the playing fields and tennis centre at Keirle Park are accessed daily by students. The main campus is only metres from Queenscliff Beach and students regularly use the beach, promenade and lagoon precinct for PDHPE classes and sport activities. The Manly Andrew "Boy" Charleton Aquatic Centre is also just a short walk from the College and is used for PDHPE lessons, swimming/lifesaving training and our swimming carnival.

The Polding Centre - Newly Opened!

The Polding Centre has officially opened! A purpose-built facility with a focus on Visual Arts, Design and Technology, and Textiles Technology.

Blessed by Bishop Anthony Randazzo during a special Mass on 29 July, the opening brought together students, staff, Good Samaritan Sisters, and special guests. The Bishop blessed each room in the Polding Centre, a gesture that symbolises protection and inspiration for all who will learn and teach within its walls.

A highlight of the day was the unveiling of the commemorative plaque by Margaret Duffy, Stella’s oldest known living alumna at 98, whose presence deeply touched the Stella community

The Centre features 16 classrooms and studios, four specialist workshops, a professional darkroom, and a multi-use outdoor terrace with some ocean views.

Named in honour of John Bede Polding, founder of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the Centre reflects Stella’s heritage and forward-thinking spirit.

The Polding Centre is a creative hub that will empower generations of students to explore their talents in a space designed for innovation, learning, and community.
