Stage opportunities for all

In addition to Drama as a subject, offered through the Years 9-12 curriculum (where for the past two years, the majority of students taking HSC Drama have been awarded Band 6s in this subject), Stella invites students to join the extra-curricular Drama program. This includes participation in an ensemble and/or a major production.

Ensembles

Year 7, Year 8 and Open Drama Ensembles - Open to all students in all years, these ensembles are dedicated to performance with an emphasis on working towards the Drama Performance Evenings in Term 2 and Term 4. Students develop their acting skills through improvisation, play building and script work.

Major Production

A major production is staged each year alternating between a play or a musical, where all students are eligible to audition. We encourage our students to take part as it offers great opportunities both on stage and behind-the-scenes. Recent past performances have included:
