Step 1 - Finding the right year level

Secondary school students are aged between 12 and 20 years old. Year 7 to 10 form junior secondary school classes and Year 11-12 constitutes senior secondary school classes.

Students must meet an upper age limit for each year level.

Entry level and upper age limits

  • Year 7: less than 15 years of age
  • Year 8: less than 16 years of age
  • Year 9: less than 17 years of age
  • Year 10: less than 18 years of age
  • Year 11: less than 19 years of age
  • Year 12: less than 20 years of age.
Step - 2 Consider your welfare and accommodation arrangement
Option 1 - Living with a parent guardian or relative

International students can choose to live with a parent, guardian or relative whereby he/she must reside in a place that is reasonably close to the school.

Option 2 - Homestay

Residing in a local family who lives on the Northern Beaches is a great option for students studying in Australia without their parents or guardians. Having the support of another family and a connection to your local community can make all the difference to settling in and improving your English language confidence.

Step 3 - Determine your English Level

The College requires all international students to meet the minimum English Language requirements before commencement.

Your daughter can sit an English exam (listed below) and provide its score that has met the minimum score to gain direct entry to the school.
