The countdown is on...

For 95 years, Stella Maris College has been shaped by generations of people who believed in the power of educating young women.

Every opportunity enjoyed by our students today exists because those who came before us chose to invest in the future. Now, as we celebrate this milestone year, we have an opportunity to do the same.

On Thursday 10 September, we will hold Stella's inaugural Giving Day, $95 for 95, inviting every member of our community to make a gift of $95 in recognition of our 95th anniversary.

At its heart, Giving Day is about participation. We know that not everyone can make a major gift, but we also know that when a community comes together behind a shared purpose, individual acts of generosity can have an extraordinary collective impact. Our hope is that the $95 contribution level makes participation accessible to all members of the Stella community, allowing everyone to play a part in this special day.

Funds raised will support the development of Stella's Building Endowment Fund, helping to create a sustainable source of income beyond fees and government funding. Over time, this fund will strengthen our ability to invest in the future of Stella, ensuring our school remains strong and thriving for generations to come.

Importantly, thanks to the generosity of a number of businesses, partners and parents, donations made on Giving Day will be matched, meaning every dollar given will have an even greater impact. These matching gifts will amplify the generosity of our community and help us build momentum throughout the day.

Whether your gift is $95, more or less, every donation matters. Most importantly, every act of participation demonstrates our collective commitment to Stella's future. Donations over $2 are tax deductible.

You can follow the live countdown and watch our community's progress on our Giving Day webpage.

So please mark Thursday 10 September in your diary and join us as the Stella community comes together for $95 for 95.

Together, we can honour the generations who built Stella and create opportunities for the generations still to come.

Warm regards,

Sharyn Quirk
